Dear Mark,
Thank you for a wonderful evening of jazz standards at the Hilton at Easton. Hearing you play piano again is proof that prayers do get answered.

Thanks for coming to Marysville. What a treat for an autism mom who doesn't get out much or has the budget to go anywhere when I do. So glad Mrs. Elchert told me you were amazing....she was right! I had someone to stay with my son, and what a joy to hear you. You played some incredibly beautiful pieces that left me speechless. Especially liked the Chopin combined with something...Begin the Beguine...I think. Besides Jerome Kern, St. Angela Merici shares your day and she was an innovative educator. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

Dear Mark, I am still smiling inside as I reflect on our concert of Sunday afternoon. What a privilege to be able to sing music so expertly crafted (by R&H) and executed (read: divinely served up and delivered) by your trio and Randy. And damn, it was fun, too! I look forward to your next offering to our eager jazz ears here in Columbus and beyond. With respect and admiration, Jody

Mark, you are truly an EXCEPTIONAL musician. I just graduated last year (2007), and as I continue my Saxophone Career at the collegiate level, you are truly a huge influence on all of my music! I feel so blessed to have grown up in columbus ohio, where I was able to hear you play frequently at the firehouse with Vaughn, and also with the COlumbus Jazz Orchestra. Keep on moving forward, and I hope to hear you play again soon!
Musically yours,

-Jordan Graham

Mark, we were genuinely impressed by your performance last Saturday at the Hyde Park Grille. The last time I requested "A Waltz for Debby" from a jazz pianist, his response was "I don't play that. It's Bill's tune." I think it was a cop out, but you played it with the true respect to its author that it deserves. I look forward to hearing you again on a future trip to Columbus. I've bookmarked your site so I can check your calendar.
How about the babe in the red dress?
