In June 2005, I performed with a great ensemble at the University of Illinois that included trumpeter Jon Faddis. We played my transcriptions of Thelonious Monk's Town Hall Concert, along with a few of my arrangements. Here is my arrangement of Monk's "Ugly Beauty".
